Pastor

Born and raised in East End, Arkansas, Pastor Tracy knew that he was called to the ministry at a young age.  He began preaching at the age of fifteen and credits his mother's fervent prayers with inspiring him to serve the Lord.   

He and his wife, Sandra, have been married for 26 years and will be celebrating their 13th year of service to Otter Creek Assembly in March of this year.  Together, they have a son named Brett, who recently got married.  They couldn't be more proud of their new daughter-in-law, Amy.

When not working at the church, Pastor Tracy enjoys hanging out with his wife Sandra, going fishing, and playing golf.  Sandra loves the hanging out part, but would rather shop than go fishing!

Associate Pastor

James R. Walker is the patriarch of Otter Creek Assembly.  He has been with OCA for 27 years, 10 of which he was the pastor.

He and his wife, Edna, live in Benton and are still very active in the church.  They have three sons, Ron, Mike, and Steve.

Associate Pastor

God is faithful and his love endures forever!  That is what Lee has found to be most true in his walk with the Lord.  Lee Denton surrendered his life to the Lord at the age of ten and began his journey with God.  He surrendered into the ministry at eighteen, unsure of the exact calling, whether music or preaching, but he had been called.  He continued to pursue both, singing with Heaven's Harmony Boy's for six years, with whom he cut his first album, while serving as youth pastor at a local church.

Lee married his beautiful wife Lauren in June of 2003.  She is currently attending UAMS College of Pharmacy and pursuing a Pharm. D. degree.  They have a son, Alexander, who was born in April of 2007 with minor complications, however God showed his faithfulness and Alexander is now totally whole.

Lee graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in music and a minor in Christian Ministries.  He is presently working on his second album entitled "Redemption".  His heart is to see people set free from bondage and pain through the power of God's word, and to see them engulf in worship of the one true God, who is most worthy to be praised!

Financial Pastor

Jared Voth joined OCA in April 2009 as our Financial Pastor.   Originally a Yankee from North Dakota he moved south to attend Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas where he met his beautiful wife, Sarah, of Bryant.  Along with being a graduate of CFNI, he has also received his bachelor’s degree in business from Dallas Baptist University, and has a background in the financial services industry.  He and Sarah have a two year old son named, Paxon Luke, and a daughter on the way, to be named Evie Lynn.  More about Jared....

Youth Pastor

Jason and Sharon Kindrix have been in youth ministry since 2000.  Jason was first called to the ministry of youth when he was just 17 years old.  They have a 3 year old son named Jackson and a newborn baby girl named Rylee.  They both have a heart and passion to see students come to the Lord and believe the only way to change the world is one teen at a time!

Children's Ministries

Mike and Veronica Waite lead our children's ministries here at OCA.  They have been with the Children's Church for 15 years now.  Their primary focus is to make sure each child understands that they are unique in their spirit, soul, goals, and dreams.  They encourage children to form their own relationship with Jesus and work towards equipping them with the tools to survive today's jungle.

 

 Marketing Manager

Anna Bowman is OCA's marketing manager.  She earned a bachelors degree in marketing from UALR in 1999.  She owns a small photography and graphic design business, but enjoys her work here at OCA.

She and her husband, Brad, actually had their first date at Otter Creek Assembly more than 15 years ago.  Sandra Tracy was instrumental in getting them together - ever the match maker!

Anna and Brad have a daughter, Corley, that is two and a brand new baby boy named Cash.  They celebrated 11 years of marriage this past July.

They love the people of Otter Creek and feel that God has placed them here, making Otter Creek their home.  They are looking forward to raising their family and seeing their kids grow up with a sense of community and support in their faith.

Assistant to Pastoral Staff

Kathy Halverson works in the OCA office as Assistant to Pastoral Staff.  She is a very valued asset to OCA.  A Prayer warrior and woman of God, Kathy is eager to answer any questions about our services, pray with anyone that needs prayer, or help in any way.

She is married to Don Halverson, her junior high sweetheart.  They have a son, Todd, a daughter-in-law, Priscilla, and a beautiful grandaughter, Julia.

Preschool Director

Angie Gomez is the Preschool Director at OCA. She has a two-year-old son, Alex, and a newborn daugher named Zoe. Angie grew up attending OCA with her family and returned there after marrying her husband, David. She has a love for children and feels honored to work with them and watch them learn. Preschool is a time for learning about God's love and developing an understanding that God's love reaches out to everyone.

Nursery Director

Leeanne Newman has attended OCA for almost 8 years. She is  married to Alex Newman. They have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter named Ryann with and a little boy due in March. They have been married 3 1/2 yrs and met at OCA. She has worked in childcare for 10 years and has always had a passion for children. She knew that her calling had something to do with children, saying "I am at the most peace when I am with kids."
